CONTROL MECHANISM FOR "R R P" - RE-WORK & RE-PRODUCTION.

SHARING MY EXPERTISE BY SUGGESTING SOME ACTIONS REQUIRED TO ADAPT CERTAIN TOOLS IN THE PRODUCTION SHOP FLOOR IN CONTROLLING R R P - RE-WORK & RE-PRODUCTION WHICH MAY BE UTILIZE AS GUIDE LINES IN CONTROLLING QUALITY ISSUES BY ACHIEVING THE RIGHT PRODUCT/RIGHT QUALITY/RIGHT TIME ALONG WITH RIGHT COST & RIGHT - ON TIME DELIVERY, O T D.

How to control R R P - RE-WORK/RE-PRODUCTION.

 Sharing & re-winding the simplest/important ways to control the RE-WORK & RE-PRODUCTION are as follows:-

 1.     Proper Educating/Training the Process Owners about the Product, it creates a Strong Knowledge bonding strength about the Product & it’s Critical Contents Criteria’s.

 2.     The Process Owner should inspect the Operation at a glance, whether the Quality of the particular Process is as per Approved Sample/Customer Requirement/Standards before moving to the next stage.

 3.     The Line Supervisor is responsible for bringing the Quality in the Line Process & make Sure with a MUST. That all the Process completed before going to the next stage through 5 nos. of each Process as Approved Sample by the Line Supervisor should within the Quality parameters as per Approved Sample/Customer Requirements/Standards.

4. The On-Line-Quality (ROAMING QC) plays the major Role & Responsibilities for bringing the Quality with in the Process/Product starting from "CUTTING UNTIL PACKING" &  make sure with a MUST.

 5. Any Improvements which are going to be implemented in Production for Productivity/Quality continual improvement  neither by Production nor by Final Inspection/QA should be through On-Line-Quality personnel only, in line with Sample Co-ordination & this is much more VITAL IMPORTANT.

6. Both Sampling/Final Inspection/QA should have a Random Inspection periodically on daily Regular basis & it is a MUST & MANDATORY so that Production/Quality will be well balanced with required target achieved as per PLANNED.

 If these above 6 points were followed strictly without any deviation/obstacle, definitely the  RE-WORK & RE-PRODUCTION will come below as per Company's % of below norms set.

(For example below 3%) It is mainly based on TEAM work with mutual efforts which can reflect definitely on the coming down of 'RE-WORK & RE-PRODUCTION" - also mentioned as RRP with a resulted orientation of massive performance, 

"IF EVERYBODY TOGETHER WILLING TO CHANGE FORWARD FOR THE CHANGE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN". THERE WILL BE NO COMPROMISE ON THE QUALITY & CUSTOMER DELIVERY AT ANY COST.
