At the beginning of each year, we plan, set goals, talk to our customers about what they want, and try to come up with solutions that are in line with global trends. So, we always look at the evolution of the worldwide market to know where we are.
With that being said, the IT outsourcing market continues to grow and is expected to reach around US$512.5bn globally this year (most revenue will be in the US US$185.50bn) and could see an annual growth of 11%, reaching around US$777bn by 2028.
Where will be the focus of the software outsourcing industry in 2024? Here's what Stefan Iorgulescu , CEO @ Control F5 Software , believes.
2. What Do We Want From 2024 @ Control F5
If we look at what’s coming up in 2024, things seem to be getting a bit more difficult, but we are confident about the quality of our services and confident that we will continue to grow.
Our targets are to increase our turnover by 30%, and to grow even more internationally. We are looking to partner with two new key strategic clients, to offer our digital product-building expertise.
Among the products we are already working on are the launch of a very interesting project in the media sector and two new products: one in the events industry and the other one in the travel business, for our well-known partner, Travel Planner. And of course, as we mentioned before, we are working on new interesting features with Investimental.

4. Design, Develop, and Test @ Control F5 Software
Phase 2, or our way of working with our clients, is Design, Develop, and Test.
This is the part where we write code to implement your product based on the features, and the documents resulting from the previous step. For this purpose, we build a dedicated software development team of developers who are skilled in the technologies needed. Depending on the needs of each project, we can include other roles in the team, such as testers, UI/UX experts, and DevOps engineers.

GitHub has begun rolling out push protection for all of its users, a secrets scanning feature that gives users the option to remove secrets from commits or bypass a block. The policy, announced February 29, affects supported secrets.
The White House Office of the National Cyber Director (ONCD) has released a new report today urging the technology industry to take steps to reduce vulnerabilities in software that leave digital systems open to cyberattacks.
The report, titled “Back to the Building Blocks: A Path Toward Secure and Measurable Software,” emphasizes the importance of technology manufacturers adopting memory-safe programming languages to prevent entire classes of vulnerabilities from entering the digital ecosystem.
Developer productivity research measures an engineer’s ability to produce a certain amount of work in a given time. This discipline studies not only the end result but what socio-technical factors influence it. More and more, it also attempts to measure developer experience, as it’s proven that DevEx drives productivity.
