The week-end disappeared real quick as usual. It was a continuous struggle negotiating with my kids why Mummy wanted to watch the Winter Olympics rather than Toy Story 2 for the Millionth time. Luckily for me, I love my job and here I am, back at work Monday morning. The weekly newsletter with a side of cereal is the usual routing on a Monday morning. However, today I was pleasantly surprised to see an article about how 4 of our leaders are participating in a fundraising event for a charity.

The Smith Family Challenge https://thesmithfamilychallenge.com.au/ raises funds to help children in need to break the cycle of disadvantage through education.

What a great cause! The event is between 80 and 100 km around the Jervis Bay area, where teams of 4 battle it out. There's trekking/ running, mountain biking, flat water paddling and "special activities" such as abseiling. Sounds like fun :-)

Good on you, Ben Frewin (Chairman), Glenn Hurley (COO), Ben Feek (CFO) and Tomas Chubb (Director Strategy/Corp. Dev). Not only are you participating for a great cause, you are also on the leader board! The Allity Aged Athletes have raised over $70k this far and are present both at the team leader board and individual leader board. Well done!
