Our Constitution requires that every 10 years the federal government counts every person residing in the United States. According to the Census Bureau:
“Citizens of foreign countries who are living in the United States, including members of the diplomatic comm unity, should be counted at the U.S. residence where they live and sleep most of time.”
Please take a few minutes to respond to the Census questionnaire in one of the three ways: by mail, online, or phone. The questionnaire is available in 12 languages and takes about ten minutes to complete.
At a time in history where our states need additional resources, the Census provides critical data that lawmakers, business owners, teachers, and many others use to provide daily services, products, and support for you and your community.
Every year, billions of dollars in federal funding go to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources based on Census data.
