As the Contracting Business Manager you'll be directly involved throughout the system of enquiry.

Job Purpose
To manage the day to day running of the contracting aspect of our business, ensuring Health & Safety, quality and profitability whilst liaising with Operations Project Co-Ordinator, Operations supervisors, operational teams and clients daily.
The key areas of responsibility include: Health & Safety, Operations, Team Management, Compliance + Finance.
You Will:
· Attend pre-start meeting with client and negotiate Contract terms and conditions.
· Manage costs on a project and ensure budget is met.
· Measure and value works on site and relay information to accounts department.
· Manage men ensuring that the instruction is clean and standard of expected workmanship is demonstrated. Ensure employees are performing as per job description.
· Maintain contact with main contractor to ensure they are satisfied with our on site performance.
· Ensure we apply best practise.
· Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to.
· Assist accounts with debt collection problems delays and rectify queries.
· Manage works on project and ensure works completed as per quotation, track changes to design and adjust accordingly ensuring client is in agreement.
· Produce Monthly reports.
· Plan and forecast works.
Are you/Do you..
- Proficient in handling complex schedules in a rapidly evolving environment?
- Able to understand different situations from site requirements and able to problem solve accordingly?
- Possesses knowledge of different products and tools to aid in creating required documentation and packs for colleagues and customers and answer appropriate questions as and when they arise?
- Experienced in troubleshooting, development of processes and able to understand and implement client requirements.
- Coherent in implementation of improvements to systems?
- Experienced in liaising closely with senior management team, suppliers and customers?
- Comfortable supporting other company departments as and when required?
- Well organised with a methodical approach to work?
- A strong negotiator?
- In management?
