WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Utilize your sales expertise to prospect, generate leads, and initiate contact with potential clients for our consulting services
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential clients
  • Employ outstanding communication skills to clearly articulate the unique features, benefits, and value propositions of our consulting offerings
  • Build and nurture strong interpersonal relationships with clients, demonstrating an empathetic and personable approach to win the trust and foster long-term partnerships
  • Leverage your problem-solving skills to understand client needs, address objections, and tailor comprehensive solutions that align with their business objectives
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our consulting services, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position our firm's expertise
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through negotiation and contract signing, ensuring seamless handover to our consulting team
  • Utilize your negotiation skills to collaborate with clients on terms, pricing, and contractual agreements that reflect the value of our services
  • Leverage your tech-savviness to maintain accurate and up-to-date records within our CRM system, ensuring a well-organized sales pipeline
  • Exhibit resilience and a proactive mindset to overcome sales challenges, maintain motivation, and consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas
  • Foster a strong professional network within the industry to source leads, referrals, and stay abreast of market trends and client needs
  • Demonstrate unwavering ethical conduct in all interactions, upholding the highest standards of integrity and fairness in your dealings
  • Arrange meetings with potential customers to present company services which include but are not limited to:
  • Thought Leadership
  • Commercialization /? Growth & Impact Advisory
  • Capital Stack Optimization & Investment Advisory
  • Possess in-depth sales experience, market insights, and product/service knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
  • Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, and presentations to support sales?
  • Complete required documentation to complete sales
  • Follow-up with clients to inquire into whether the services meet their expectations
  • Address customer concerns and resolve complaints
  • Maintain working relationships with clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Contract Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and promoting our consulting services. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for sales, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.


Essential Skills

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and strategies; this includes prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, needs analysis, negotiation, closing deals, and post-sale relationship management
  • Proven track record of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in a consulting, financial services, or professional services environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and convincingly
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for building and maintaining client relationships
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, email, and virtual communication tools (experience with Monday is a plus)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about our consulting services, industry nuances, and client challenges
  • Resilience in the face of rejection and setbacks, with a positive attitude and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ethical mindset and commitment to maintaining honesty, transparency, and professionalism in all interactions
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and consultative sales skills; leveraging networking skills to connect with industry professionals and leverage opportunities for business growth
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service, time management, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and active listening skills are also important to understand customer needs and tailoring solutions accordingly
  • A working understanding of emerging technologies in both the digital and physical space
  • An ability to understand and communicate complex ideas
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field


Desired Skills

  • Understanding of the role and uniqueness of mission-driven startups
  • Certified sales professional (CSP) certification is advantageous
  • Expertise in circular economy programs, sustainability, and regenerative programs? solutions is a huge plus
  • Passion for strategy, impact investing, and building solutions to UN Sustainable Development Goals is a huge plus
  • Experience in business development, grant writing, and professional writing is a huge plus
