Continuous and Lifelong Learning : Storytelling

Step by Step guide to create a story ( Business and Fiction) :

1 Inspiration

The first step in creating a piece of fiction or Business is choosing a topic/usecase. Whether you're writing about something specific (such as a family history) or abstract (a dream) or a Business use case/Problem, think about what you'd like to write about. What do you know about? What would make a good subject for a short essay? Once you've chosen a topic, you'll probably start thinking about characters and plot. Characters come first because they drive the action forward. Plot comes second because it organizes the characters into a coherent whole or whether the customer pain areas and how to provide solution for value creation

Watch. Listen. Note. Do. Be inspired. Make a habit of these things, and like authors through out history, you'll find inspiration everywhere.

2 Brainstorm

Once you've got an idea for a story whether its fiction or business though it's a short story, a novel, or a screenplay — start writing! Brainstorming and outlining at this stage helps you get started writing.

Once you've decided on who is going to be narrating the story, think about the point of view they're using. This is when the concept of "narratology" becomes relevant—how does their experience and perspective affect the way they tell the story?

3 Outline

Next, write down what happens next as solution driven business problem. Write down everything that happens in each scene. Don’t worry about whether the events happen chronologically; just write them down. Once you’ve written down the events/solution in each scene, think about how they affect the characters and what they mean to the overall theme of the novel. You might also consider including any subplots or side stories that occur during the course of the novel.

4 Draft

Write everything now. Don't worry about editing until later.

5 Revise

When you're ready, it may help if you share your work with someone else who has an objective view. Your readers might catch things you missed. For business side share within your team for missing business and technical views
