Among the highlights of 2017 was bringing to fruition the incredible invitation and dream come true to participate in the 57th Venice Biennale Viva, Arte, Viva. On the heels of that life-changing event, my artistic journey did not stop. In December, I was happy to continue in a celebration of art by exhibiting with the Simons Gallery in CONTEXT Art Miami.
Neither the Biennale nor CONTEXT would have been possible without hours of hard work and planning. I am reminded that behind each exhibit is a process of building up from the last step.
As I go into the next year, I am inspired to continue creating and celebrating the joy of art. My journey will continue in February when I fly to Italy to be a part of the Espinasse31 Milano Residency 2018. Growing through art- through each piece and each moment- will never stop.
