Custom UI Testing in AEM
How confident are you that your AEM website is working as it should??
Developers and tech-savvy marketers might think that small code changes won’t break the website…
Until it does.
What’s worse is when the error gets noticed by the CEO first — or worse yet, the customer — but gets missed by the marketing or development team.?
Introducing automated user interface (UI) testing to continuously test all of the features on your website overnight can ensure that everything is working as it should. If there is a problem, it can be fixed before it has a chance to impact the user experience or revenue.
AEM offers a “Custom UI Testing” feature in Cloud Manager to help, and you can read more about how to use it on our blog.?

Open Source Headless CMS Suggestions
We came across this post on Reddit of a developer looking for a headless CMS. While their initial use case is just for simple projects they eventually want to use the CMS for larger enterprise projects.?
“Can you recommend something or can you take away my concerns about the PRO-Version and eventually enterprise limitations of Ghost, Strapi or Directus for my later projects? (these projects are planned to be relatively big)," they mentioned.
The reality is that many smaller enterprises might opt for an open source or headless CMS initially, but when it comes time to scale they’ll run into issues. For us it’s better to choose a platform that will offer longevity and reliability if you’re looking at enterprise-level projects.?
Platforms like Optimizely CMS offer a competitively priced entry point for smaller enterprises and larger enterprises alike, while Sitecore XM Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager offer another option for those that are ready to scale to the next level already. Need a CMS suggestion? Reply and let us know.?
That’s all for this week, folks!?
Don’t forget to share this email with your colleagues if you found it useful.?
See you soon,
