Content strategy vs Traffic strategy? You need both!

This is a Youtube video topic, but I also thought it helpful to share with you here.

?? 5 to 7 years ago the algorithms on all platforms were very forgiving. Having content meant getting traffic.

I sold so much by doing Facebook Lives whoohooo!

But right now, free traffic is almost non existent (Yes even on TikTok).

Listen, I don’t like to get my feelings hurt. So aside of deciding my content, I'm very intentional with traffic strategies.

Content strategies include:

• Topics
• Where to show up
• Tone of Voice
• Mix of pain points addressed
• Form of content (long post, short text, videos, animations?)

Some traffic strategies are:

• Online networking. (Think like Happy Hours, Corporate events, Conferences, but online lol). By joining paid masterminds (higher level prices, to network with higher level of clients), using free Facebook groups, online events etc.
• Reach out to low hanging fruit (past clients, collab with friends etc)
• Guest speaking at events or podcast interviews
• My favourite, but last step is ads.

Don’t use posting and hoping as your main strategy!! You’ll be in your feelings with no results lol.
