Content Staging is a feature that comes only in Magento Commerce. It helps the Store Owner to easily establish a variety of content updates directly from the backend panel. So, instead of creating a static page, one can easily create a collection of contents that can be easily turned ON or OFF on a scheduled basis.
The record of changes can be managed from the Staging Dashboard in the Backend Panel.
Scheduling process can be achieved using Scheduled Update or Scheduled Change feature, which can be changed according to the need.
When the contents that were staged or scheduled reaches its timeline, the contents again revert back to the previous versions. There is also an option to create multiple versions for the same contents which might be scheduled for some future dates. You will be able to review all from the Staging Dashboard timeline panel.
When contents are staged, a new campaign is being created and Schedule Change Box appears on the top of the page. Now, let’s walk across the process of staging some contents.
In order to create and schedule a particular page design, choose the necessary product or category.
Tap the “Schedule Update” button in the Schedule Change field and start configuring the campaign settings.
