LinkedIn UPDATES AND HOW THEY AFFECT YOU:?

Finally, LinkedIn has been making many changes to its product and I wanted to share some of them with you to ensure you're abreast with the latest and start changing your content style accordingly.

I have also added how you can tackle these changes below:

1)?LinkedIn Games: ?You can engage with your team or clients by challenging them to any of these games and making them super competitive.

2)?Thought Leader Ads: ? Only available for companies who are approved to use this via LinkedIn Marketing Solutions.

You can now highlight your CXO's LinkedIn post as a paid ad.

LinkedIn might ramp this up to include small or medium?organisations but it's still early days. This is something they will be tapping into in the future and organisations can leverage these for paid campaigns.

3)?A SEPARATE?VIDEO TAB on LinkedIn: ?LinkedIn is exploring a TikTok-like video tab and it features content from popular professionals based in the US currently.

For those of you who want to get started with trying out the video format, the timing couldn't be better. 4)?Comments have changed: ?Not only can you turn off member comments before or after sharing a post, but you can also decide if you would like to keep existing comments.

You can also now limit comments to 1st-degree connections before and after sharing your post. Once you select a comment preference, it’ll be saved as your default option for future posts.

You might have also noticed that most relevant comments are visible or just limited to one comment unlike before where we saw multiple comments on each post on our feed.?

This means you have to ensure the comments you share add more value to the post so that it shows up front and centre.
