Content That Sells & Converts

Too many times on social media, I see an influx amount of people trying hard to become more likeable & popular.

They feel as if they can get to 1,000,000+ followers, 100,000+ likes a post, 10,000+ comments a post, they will become successful, profitable, and their dopamine levels will increase. Some content creators can get away with this, but that's only if you are a big name celebrity or athlete. You, most likely, are not a famous celebrity or athlete. Therefore, you can't get away with that.

Popularity = profitability is one of the biggest lies ever told. Being popular does not equal to profitability. 1,000,000+ followers does not equal to $1,000,000.

Instead of becoming popular, create a "problem solver" approach to your content that will actually lead to sales opportunities coming your way.

In this edition of The Differentiation Innovator, you will learn how to write content that sells & converts, rather than being too generic and likeable.

First, you want to avoid creating "generic" content posts that 97% of people create.


Examples of "generic" content include...

  • "Always be true to your real self."
  • "Treat everyone with kindness and respect."
  • "Keep going. You are doing the best you can."
  • "HR Managers need to be more communicative in the hiring process."

While all of these comments are "nice" and I would happen to like these posts as well. It would only lead me to do just that, like the post. Nothing about these comments would convince anyone to buy any of your products or services.


Instead of being the "generic" and popular creator, become the "Problem Solver" creator.

These kind of creators do the following:

  1. Talk about a problem or pain point that their audience has currently
  2. Amplify with those problems or pain points
  3. Emphasize with understanding
  4. Paint a positive future for their audience
  5. Present a solution
  6. Call to Action (CTA)


An example of a content post would be something like this:

You are a personal trainer for male entrepreneurs trying to lose body fat.

1) Hook - Perfect to combine for the problem/pain point, amplify, emphasize, & positive future.

You spend many days trying to lose body fat.

You lift weights, do cardio, but still don't see results

Here's what you should know and be doing...


2) Body - Present your valuable information & solution.

1) Make sure you are eating healthy foods

- Especially food high in protein

2) Don't overdo cardio

- Spend more time on weights

80% of success comes from what you eat

20% comes from your workout


3) Call to Action (CTA) - Tell your audience what to do next.

Looking to improve your physique and feel healthier, more information to (the solution) in (location where your link is).


The more you can make every piece of content you write about solving your audience's problems & pain points and provide value, the more sales you'll make.

And remember, popularity does not equal profitability. Don't get caught up in that false dopamine rush.
