I have found out that there is a big influence of lifestyle in your mood. If we prioritize activities that align with our personal preferences and make us feel good, regardless of the weather conditions, we are likely to have a more positive outlook. This could be as simple as finding indoor hobbies or exercise routines that bring us joy, or even adopting a mindset that embraces the unique qualities each season brings.

let's not underestimate the power that weather can have on our mood. By understanding and acknowledging its influence, we can take proactive steps to ensure our well-being remains intact, regardless of the forecast. So, let's make the most of every weather pattern and find ways to cultivate happiness, no matter the conditions.

Workload and stress

Working hard should not be confused with overworking at the expense of relationships and physical health.

Everyone who has ever held a job has, at some point, felt the pressure of work-related stress. Any job can have stressful elements, even if you love what you do. In the short-term, you may experience pressure to meet a deadline or to fulfill a challenging obligation. But when work stress becomes chronic, it can be overwhelming—and harmful to both physical and emotional health.

To keep growing in Corporate, It's crucial to strike a balance between work and personal life to prevent burnout. Taking breaks, setting boundaries, and practicing self-care are essential in maintaining a healthy mindset. Remember, it's okay to say no sometimes and prioritize your well-being. Building strong relationships and finding joy outside of work can also help alleviate stress. Taking care of yourself is not a luxury; it's a necessity. So, embrace the importance of self-care and create a fulfilling life that goes beyond the demands of your job.

Mindfulness Corner

The goal of mindfulness is to wake up to the inner workings of our mental, emotional, and physical processes.

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.

Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful. And there’s growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful, you’re actually remodelling the physical structure of your brain.

I am an advocate of mindfulness, because it has brought so much good into my life, that I can’t stop recommending it. Just think about a time you were in stress, and you stop to breathe in and breathe out. It focused you, right? Calmed you down. That’s what it does.

Over the last few weeks I was listening to this audiobook – How to Have a Good Day by Caroline Webb.

I am not even half way through the book, but it already offered so many helpful tips on how to be more effective with your time, tackle big projects, avoid procrastination, say no in a positive way and have conversations that nurture positive and mutually beneficial connections.
