Greetings in The Mighty Name of Jesus, The Christ!!!

“That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Romans 8:4

Brothers and Sisters, are you Content? Are you Satisfied? Are you Fulfilled? To be Content there must be a Walk In The Spirit and not of The Flesh. The Flesh is never Satisfied, never Fulfilled and never Content, but wages war against The Spirit, that if given in to, will lead you astray.

The Righteousness Of The Law is in Your Contentment, Your Satisfaction, Your Fulfillment Of The Spirit, walking in Obedience In The Word.

We live in a World where Chaos abounds in a lack of Contentment, always desiring more, never being Satisfied, never being Full. But we, Brothers and Sisters are not to be so, but many are Not Content!

You are not Content with what Jesus has given you and you seek more to Fulfill Your Fleshly Desires, leading you Not to be Content In The Spirit!!

“The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man [shall be satisfied] from himself.”

Proverbs 14:14

Too many of you may think that getting another job will Fulfill you, or getting Divorce will bring Contentment or finding a church that Agrees With You, will Satisfy you. Some of you think that Rising Up is your Right, but in all this there is No Contentment.

Now with that being said, before moving on, this does Not Mean Acceptances Of Those Who Walk In Disobedience, but is quite the opposite. For we should not be Content with those who Walk in Disobedience to The Word or to The Spirit, but should be Quick to Remind them of their wrong doing. For if we see a Brother or Sister who has fallen and do not tell them of their wrong doing, according to The Word, then because we did not tell them we become Accountable in Not Telling Them before Jesus.

“But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.”

Ezekiel 33:6

Now before anyone goes the wrong direction here, you need to Understand that we are our Brothers and Sisters Keepers. There are Rules that we are to follow when we see a Brother or Sister that has Backslidden, walking in Sin Against The Word, that I will not get into here. But Understand this that we Must Fight Against Disobedience within The Church!

Back to being Content.

“[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Hebrews 13:5

Sometimes being in a place of Contentment does not mean that all things are Equal or The Same from one Brother or Sister to another, but Contentment is being Satisfied with Where Jesus Has You… AT THE TIME YOU ARE IN!

“1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man [that is] an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, [that] shall ye receive. 8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them [their] hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that [were hired] about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received [it], they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12?Saying, These last have wrought [but] one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take [that] thine [is], and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15?Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.”

Matthew 20:1-16

The point here is that we are to be Content with what Our Lord Jesus has given us and not be Angry or walk in a Mind Of Equality. Jesus will do as He Desires to do for His Glory unto The Father.

Now with that being said, this does not mean that I cannot have a New Car or a Bigger House or even a Better Job, but I will say that you Must Learn to be Content where you are First, being Good Stewards to that which Jesus has given you. There are some who will always be in a state of being poor or even in poverty and there will always be some in a state of being rich, for it is Not The State In Which We Live In, BUT HOW You Live In It! In other words, The Word is THE SAME, The Spirit is THE SAME!

“4 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.”

Ephesians 4:4-6

To be Content means that you HAVE to be Satisfied WITH JESUS and what He is doing with Your Life and if you are Satisfied With Jesus where He has you, then You Will Be FULFILLED in that which He Has You In!!! if I am not Satisfied Where I am, Not Content, Not Fulfilled, then I must Seek Jesus for His Guidance. There are times when Jesus, through The Holy Spirit will leads us Not To Be Content so that He, Jesus, can move us to a Different Position to bring Him Glory.

Now let me give an example. Most of you are Not Content where Jesus has you because of Your Flesh and YOU Desire more than what Jesus has given, this is Sin! But there are times when you are Content with where you are, you’re Satisfied with where Jesus has placed you, but He needs you to Do or Go somewhere else to do a Work For Him, this is Walking In The Spirit and is Not Sin. If The Holy Spirit is leading to Do or Go somewhere else and you do not, then you will find that you are no longer Content with where you are at.

There is a big difference in being Content in The Flesh and being Content in The Spirit, but if both are according to Jesus then there is Peace and Contentment. But the problem at hand is this, there are some of you who have been given a lot and you do nothing to Glorify Jesus with it and there are those who have very little doing nothing to Glorify Jesus, in either case, this is Sin! Our Contentment, Our Satisfaction, Our Fulfillment is in Jesus when He Is Glorified BY US, THROUGH US?with what we have, that Jesus has given us!!!

To be Content with Jesus means to Let Go of my Flesh.?For an example, there was a time when I had lost everything, except my job. I had lost my house, my vehicle, my kids, and my wife, and because of her, I lived in my vehicle. Even in despair I LEARNED to be Content with what I had and where I was. Because I did this, The Lord opened doors that would have remained closed, gave me things and opportunities to further Glorify His Name.

There is only One Way to be Content and that is in The Spirit, the Flesh will never be Content, never be Satisfied and never be Fulfilled but will always want more and better.

One last thing, which was said in a roundabout way. You do not need to have the Best of everything. If what you already have in your life can do what is needed, then be Content. You do not need a new phone or computer or car just because there is a new one with more bells and whistles, most do nothing more then what you already need. This also goes for those of you that have children. Just because the child down the block has a new iphone does not mean your child needs one. Just ?because you had to work hard to get where you are does not mean that your children do not need to do the same. We need to Teach Our Children to be Content With Little, to be Satisfied and Fulfilled with Jesus where they are in Jesus. Things do not make us Content or Satisfied or Fulfilled, but only Walking in Obedience In Jesus can we find Contentment!!!
