Recent AI Announcements Worth Noticing

The pace of AI innovation continues to accelerate, and the last few weeks have been nothing short of revolutionary. Several major announcements have hit the tech world, each with significant implications for SaaS marketers. Today, we take a look at a few of these groundbreaking developments and offer insights into why they should be on every SaaS marketer's radar.?

ChatGPT Announces Next-Gen Multisensory Experience?

The popular generative AI platform has announced another radical transformation, evolving from a strictly text-based conversational agent into a multisensory model capable of seeing, hearing, and speaking. This is more than an incremental release. Over 75% of marketers – including the Bay Leaf Digital team – use ChatGPT to some degree. These new features are redefining how we interact with AI. OpenAI plans to roll out voice and images in ChatGPT for Plus and Enterprise (paying) subscribers over the next few weeks.??

Our interest is piqued by this tweet, which predicts a wild ride for OpenAI. It might be right; it might be wrong. The only people who know aren’t talking. We'll all have to wait and see.?

New Features Available in Canva?

Canva boasts over 75 million users, and 2/3 are paid subscribers. The platform is a game-changer for many marketers, putting attractive graphic design within reach – even to those with limited resources or training. Canva recently announced Magic Studio , a fully integrated suite of AI tools.??

One of Magic Studio’s groundbreaking features is the ability to create dynamic, high-quality videos using AI. The platform will understand the context and content of your request and use it to generate videos that resonate with your target audience. Magic Studio's integration with Runway also brings a new layer of AI capabilities. You now have more advanced design elements, from 3D models to AI-generated art, right within your Canva workspace. You can leverage those advanced elements to create visually stunning marketing materials that stand out.??

Canva has always been known for its extensive template library, but Magic Studio takes it further with AI-curated templates. These are not just generic designs but templates the AI thinks will work best for your project based on your past behavior and design trends. Finally, new features will facilitate real-time collaboration for SaaS marketers who work in teams. You’ll be able to co-edit designs, leave comments, and even see changes as they happen, streamlining the design process and making it more efficient.??

Google Assistant with Bard: The Future of Personalized Assistance??

Google is taking its Google Assistant a step further by integrating Bard, a generative AI model, to create a more intuitive, intelligent, personalized digital assistant. Like the new ChatGPT release, one of the standout features is the ability to interact with Assistant with Bard through text, voice, or images. Assistant with Bard is being built to integrate seamlessly with existing Google services like Gmail and Docs. For SaaS companies whose services already integrate with Google's ecosystem, this announcement means a more cohesive and streamlined user experience, leading to improved customer satisfaction. Emphasizing that privacy is a cornerstone in the development of Assistant with Bard and that the project is still in the early stages, Google expects to roll the new Google Assistant out to early testers soon, with broader public availability in the coming months.?

First Look at New Wearable AI?

Founded by ex-Apple employees Imran Chaudhri and Bethany Bongiorno, Humane is developing an innovative AI device that stands alone without a computer or phone connection. The company promises a seamless experience that will allow us to remain connected and fully present. The company gave the world a sneak peek into the capabilities of its new wearable AI technology during a TED talk in the spring. We all finally got a look at the device, called Ai Pin, when supermodel Naomi Campbell wore it on the runway during Paris Fashion Week. Join the waitlist to get one of your own when they’re released on November 9.?

  9. 54% of survey respondents called improving lead quality and conversion rates their greatest challenge, followed by generating more leads at 41%. 55% of marketers met their target lead numbers in 2022 but did not exceed them.??

The ViB report concludes by recommending that marketers leverage the AI tools available now and be ready to adopt more as they become available. At Bay Leaf Digital, we’re using AI tools every day, and we agree.?
