Content Insider #709 - Good Trouble
There are folks in the M&E industry who won't agree that cracking, then breaking the theatrical window was a good thing but...bear us out. New streaming services are cropping up everywhere and they all need new, fresh content. That means creative people have to figure out how to develop the kind of content the streaming services and subscribers want. That means film folks work more and make more money or at least work consistently. Don't worry movie theaters won't disappear from the landscape. They'll change and adapt just as you and your teams have done and are doing. People will still want to experience some films in a controlled environment. Others will want to watch it at home in their PJs with their own popcorn. Others will watch the creative work on their smartphone. Remember, it's all good trouble.
