Content Control
Dear LinkedIn Members (1,000 plus connections),
Do you get tired of seeing meaningless comments on your posts that has nothing to do with the topic you are presenting? Some may not be bothered by this, but to those who find it annoying, I have a hypothesis to this issue.
Create a post that lists all the rules you expect from viewers. After that, you can place it in the 'Featured' section so that whenever professionals and students view your profile, they know what you expect from them when it comes to engaging with you and your content. Another option, copy and paste that list under every comment section of your post, so that everyone can see what you expect from them.
Please, I am not saying that you rule like a dictator and have a whole encyclopedia of rules and sentencing people to LinkedIn Court.
I am saying is that if you desire more meaningful comments on your posts, provide your guests with a list of rules to abide by, so you will not have to worry about meaningless, off-topic comments.
Or you can always block them... It is your choice, not mine, just a word of advice.
