Content-based Addressing
Content-based Addressing is used to access the resource from a network with a unique ID of the resource instead of it's location???.
For this each file?? is provided with a unique CID like the register number provided for every student????.
Optimus.jpeg --> bafybeignsmba6gdw3m6a7at65rw7tj4ub7jykf726m6vz5b6jamg2pejgm
Same files stored in different locations have the same URLs.
My friend Mike and I like Optimus Prime?? so, we upload the same pic of Optimus from our individual systems??.
But the URL?? produced in both sides is the same
ipfs://bafybeignsmba6gdw3m6a7at65rw7tj4ub7jykf726m6vz5b6jamg2pejgm/?filename=optimus.jpg
if my system is down?? you can still access the file because it is available in Mike's system??♂?.
Hence
You access the file without bothering about the location???
You get the file until the last copy?? is present in the network
Stick Around??
