Contemplate Everything's Opposite

I picked up the charming book How to be Perfect - An Illustrated Guide (source of the above illustration, which in turn is the source of this article's title) from a New Year's book display in the atrium at SLPL Central full of self-improvement titles of varying degrees of sincerity and/or humor. This book normally resides in "my" room at Central, the Social Sciences room on the 2nd floor, at call number 158. I have the good fortune to oversee call numbers 001-399 and am delighted to report that the room is full of opposites and contradictions, the exploration of which are sure to expand your consciousness, open your mind, and/or make you go "huh." To wit: this blog post, and a standing invitation to come see me and my collection and check out some opposites.
