Consultants Don't Have Excuses

As a consultant for non-profit for-profit or both, you don't get to make excuses for why you can't do the job. As a consultant you are serving your client. Your client needs your energy your time and your effort. A real consultant = A Real Servant! 

Real servants do their best with what they have. Servants don't make excuses procrastinate or wait for better circumstances. Servants never say, "One of these days", "When the time is right", or "When I have the energy, then I will serve". They just do what needs to be done. If we wait for the right time to serve, you and I both know that we will never serve. The expectations for us to do what we can with what we have is very high. Less than perfect service is better than no service. One reason many people never serve, is that they think they are not good enough to serve. A little secret is that "No one is good enough to serve, because no one is perfect." But that should not stop you from serving. We are called to serve. We are placed on this planet to serve one another. And even though we are not perfect, we are still called to serve however we can and with whatever we have to serve. 

Whether you call yourself a consultant or a servant, the expectations are there for you to serve because the more you do for others, the more you do for yourself.
