CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR - HOUSTON BASED BUILDER - GROWTH POTENTIAL ABOUNDING!

We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded PROJECT COORDINATOR who will assist our team of Project Managers with project goals.?This position is full-time and will require a self-driven candidate who wants to career advancement in a growing, energetic, Houston-based company.

?WHAT YOU’LL DO:?

·????????Meet with Project Managers daily to review workload, deadlines, schedules, submittals, contracts, documentation, etc. to ensure timely completion of work.

·????????Keep accurate and detailed documentation within Co-Construct and PlanGrid software systems daily.

·????????Build and maintain start packages, job folders, and PM software.

·????????Order project insurance costs.

·????????Manage submittal process.

·????????Prepare AR customer billing monthly.

·????????Assist with subcontractor contact, correspondence, and procurement.

·????????Aid in procurement/estimating process for new projects.

·????????Assist in developing scopes for new and existing projects.

·????????Update database with estimates and running reconciliation reports.

·????????Act as liaison between clients and Construction Department as well as the field and the Construction Department.

·????????Prepare project summaries. Manage and coordinate all plans, specs, addendums, updates, and schedules to field.

·????????Assist with permits and municipal paperwork.

·????????Performing special tasks and projects as requested.

·????????Enhance the company’s reputation through building effective and productive relationships with suppliers and vendors.

·????????Communicate with each client in a professional and respectful manner.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

·????????At least two years of experience in the construction industry.

·????????Bachelor’s degree preferred.

·????????Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

·????????Great work ethic, high integrity, and honesty.

·????????Experience in Co-Construct or similar project management software.

·????????Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

·????????Ability to successfully represent the company?in a professional and positive way.

·????????High degree of accuracy and efficiently in output.

·????????Ability and desire to wear many hats and switch priorities easily.

·????????Detail-oriented and results-focused with exceptional organizational ability.

·????????Project management skills. Rapid problem-solving abilities and confident in decision making/critical thinking.

·????????Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, and trade partners.

·????????Self-motivation with a strong sense of urgency and “whatever it takes” mentality.

·????????Desire to continuously improve and produce results.

·????????Strong time management skills with ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision.
