About The Speaker

Based in Clerkenwell from 1988, James Engel (Architect) and Andie Scott (Artist) designed and delivered interiors, installations, architectural proposals and curiosities.

Their practice evolved, and when Spaced Out was formed in 1997 others collaborated to help deliver Architecture, Interior Architecture, Furniture and Installations Studio.

In parallel with live projects James has taught on Architecture, Interiors and product Design programmes in London and Overseas.

He is currently working on live projects in London, Buckinghamshire and Pay de Loire, alongside studio design teaching on the Interior Architecture Masters at the University of Westminster.

James addresses each engagement with vigour and enthusiasm and is sure to do the same for this event.
