Microsoft HoloLens offers a platform for viewing data such that it can escape the confines of physical screens and physical models. This has been true from the beginning. However, in most cases, the experience of a HoloLens application is a bespoke game or single experience of a highly curated dataset. Not anymore.

I am happy to announce that our latest version of our HoloLens app, Bentley Synchro XR is now up on the Microsoft store and is fully compatible with the Bentley Synchro 2018 Platform solution.

With this app, you can pull Construction Modeling data from any Synchro Workgroup model running on our Azure cloud architecture down to the devise in order to visualize your construction plans, and even track progress in the field using the 4D model as the digital record of progress.

We also added a new mode for multi-user experience where multiple users can all experience the same holographic model in real-time together. This was a long time request, and we are happy to announce it works and is part of the app!
