Constrive Contribution day

Constrive and therewith Mconomy as well have become a Pledge 1% member starting March’21. Pledge 1% is a global movement to create a new normal where giving back is baked into the DNA of companies (of all sizes) from the very beginning. Next to contributing with a percentage of profit, we support with our Constrive contribution day. A quarterly day event where we support charities with a large group of Constrive members.

Today we have taken part in the Beach Clean-up Tour. An initiative of ‘Stichting de Noordzee’. With various volunteers we have helped to clean-up Dutch beaches. In my case it was a home game more or less, as we were cleaning parts of the beach side in Noordwijk. Proud I can contribute to this cause and my employer is facilitating it in such a way. Next to the karma points our score were various full bags of trash and in particular a lot of cigarette buds. These aren’t made of paper, what many people might think. They just don’t dissolve in nature.

When enjoying the beach(nature in general) be aware of your surrounding and try to remove more trash than you brought with you.
