Be Consistent...
Welcome to the quick new weekly edition of your newsletter to help increase productivity by doing less.
This week, I want to talk (errr... write to) you about being consistent.
Something to consider when thinking about this topic....
Before you can "be" consistent, you have to "become" consistent.
Eek.
Let's examine the problem and ONE actionable tip to help you be consistent so you can actually do less and become even more productive :-).
Consistently.
The Problem:?I Am All Over The Map
This week, imagine you and I are at a shop that sells maps.
It's actually just next door to the flower shop we were in last week together.
Because. Maps. Why not, right?
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "My life seems completely random these days. I am reacting to everything. People are noticing I am not consistent. Heck. I am noticing it.
Sound a little familiar?
We have all been there (welcome to being a human being).
Consistency means different things to pretty much anyone I speak with about this topic.
OK...
In reality, I have not had a specific real-world conversation about consistency with anyone (outside of my own head).
Thus, me writing the ONE actionable tip to you, dear reader :-).
The Actionable Tip:?Be Consistent
"Be Consistent."
Sigh. Really?

Before you can "BE" consistent you've got to "BECOME" consistent first.
This means, in order to stop reacting to everything you've got to start being consistent by becoming consistent.
You know.
Have a routine.
I know. It's easier said then done (hey, that's why this little newsletter is consistently published to you each Thursday!).
And.
Becoming consistent -- which leads to BEing consistent -- will help you become even more productive by doing less.
I promise.
Your Next Step...
If you've got a routine, cool. Stick with it.
If you are stuck, ask for some help from someone; there are many ways you can get help besides reading my weekly ONE actionable tip here each week (learn more about how I might be able to help you, your team, or organization at michaelvizdos.com).
Here is the part where?I need YOU to contribute YOUR actionable tip?for others who are reading this short article....
Please share?ONE?actionable tip in the comments below about what you've done to be consistent at something, and why this is important to you.
I can't wait to read your comments and learn more together.
Thank you.
PS: OK... Here is this "consistency" thing in action and something I model as an example for you to see that I DO this stuff and not just TALK (or write) about it.

1 年Michael, I love your line before you can "be" you have to become consistent. Where I am consistent - early riser, inspiring reading, morning pages to begin each day - seven days a week. Now to add just one item to my "becoming" list and focus until I am 'be-ing" it. Thank you, Michael
