Consistency

Consistency is a quality that I have always felt was in short supply and very underrated. It is one of the most valuable attributes a person, a business, or a brand can have.?

When I started CORE, I put together a few brand pillars to create our brand and mission for the company. My first one was, “Consistency would be the Key to our Success.” Consistency in our business model, responsiveness, boutique size, level of service to our clients, and quality. This directive continues to be a driving inspiration for how we make decisions and run our company. If people can rely on you and know who you are and what you stand for, there will be nothing more valuable.?

I know firsthand that it isn’t easy being consistent. It takes hard work, sacrifice, and dedication, and that’s partly why it is in such short supply. Life will always throw shit unexpectedly at you, and it isn’t easy to stay the course.?As a father, it has been one of my daily goals for how I strive to interact with my children.?

There has been nobody in most of our lifetimes that was more consistent than Queen Elizabeth II.?Everybody will have an opinion on how she ruled and her significance in history. Still, nobody can dispute that she has been the most consistent global brand and person on the planet since 1952.?

Side Bar:

Duke Ellington was one of the greatest composers in American History. His work was always consistently magnificent. If you have some time, below is the link to one of my favorite Duke Ellington compositions. “Queens Suite” Here’s the backstory: In 1958, Ellington and his orchestra performed at an arts festival in Yorkshire, where he was presented to the Queen of England. She inspired him to write this piece for her.?He had only one copy of the recording pressed and delivered it to Buckingham Palace as a present for the Queen. (It was never intended to be commercially released). After he passed away, the recording was released.

I hope you love it as much as I do.?
