Consistency? Meh, I would rather talk about SUSTAINABILITY

Ok, I know that I am as guilty as a lot of people talking about consistency.

When you really break down what consistency really means it's about doing the same thing on regular basis. Is that really enough though?

Let's say you use LinkedIn for client attraction. So many people do because after all, it is the worlds leading business networking platform. (Queue the sponsorship from Linkedin).

Do you generate content? Do you comment and engage? Well if you don't you should be but that's for another day.

If you are doing this on a consistent basis, what does that look like? 50 engagements a day, 20 connection requests, content 3 times a day? 5 days a week or 7?

The other end of the scale is that you log in every 30 days.

These are all consistent actions but whichever you do are they enough to achieve the results that you want?

The question I want to ask is is it sustainable?

Sustainability isn't about doing it all yourself. There are other ways are making something sustainable. Have you thought this far ahead though when you set out?

Never underestimate planning. You will never plan to fail but you can fail to plan.

When I coach entrepreneurs to help with continued success, I take them through 3 stages.

The 3rd stage is about the future. Let me share with you a little something that I use.

The growth of a project, side hustle or even a business is all about its sustainability.

  • Automation
  • Hires
  • Innovation
  • Ease

There are many factors that go into being able to sustain your business, side hustle or project.

It is so easy to get excited about something new, it is harder to grow it and a lot harder to keep that momentum going.

As an entrepreneur, we are in love with the business of business and until you have a sustained business running with little input from yourself, you should never really move on to the next one.

You will burn out.
