Consistency is the Key to success, and how to be consistent!!!


'Steady and slow win the race’. It’s a famous story about a tortoise and rabbit. Everyone have read in their childhood. The moral of the story is no matter how smart and fast you are. If you are not consistent. You can not win the race. I am the one who is not that smart and fast but I know how to be consistent.

“Consistency is the key to Success”, it is rightly said. When you start something, you will not get things initially but when you do it consistently, you start to get mastery of it.?

A drop has the power to cut rock if it falls consistently on it. Ants give an excellent example of consistency, they keep moving consistently to find food. They keep doing their task until they find their food. The same goes with Honey Bee, their job is doing consistent work, on honey making process.?They teach us how to be consistent to achieve those things which matter most.?

When You look around and see Nature everywhere, they teach us the lesson of consistency, The sun comes at the right time and goes with the pre-decided time. River consistently flows to the Ocean. Earth is moving consistently. These are the examples of consistency of Nature, and because of that, we are able to survive on this earth. ?

When we want to achieve some of our goals and fulfill our targets. We need to work consistently. When you go to school or get any degree or certification, You need to study consistently. When you join a gym or any fitness class, you need to do it consistently, inconsistent habit pattern doesn’t give you any result.

Consistency has amazing power, I remember in 2014 when I got an idea to share the Spiritual teachings as?I was reading a lot of spiritual books, with a lot of people so that it can help them to make their life better.?I shared the spiritual teachings through my Facebook page every day consistently. Even no one is noticing, I did at that time, and now it has more than 22K followers.

A few years later, in 2018 I started the motivational page on Facebook (Meta) and want to create a place for people who want to look for some hope and positivity in their dark times, I was posting it consistently now it has more than 26K followers, and followers are increasing day by day. In 2020 I started writing articles on health and wellness sharing information through my Articles and quotations. Now I have many subscribers and many followers on social media pages and writing articles helped me to write my book.

The point is not here about how many followers I have, but it’s about you will get success if you are doing things consistently. Like me, there are many people who follow their passion and sharing and serving through Youtube channels, and?Social Media Pages, they do hard work consistently.?

Before starting anything there is only an idea but your consistent hard work with good intentions always gives you the best results.?

Consistency and Persistent?

Consistency is more powerful when you are doing it till you achieve, this is called persistent. Thomas Edison keep tried experiments many times but got success after thousand of experiments. He was consistent in his experiments and persistent till he get success.

A child who learns to walk falls and stands, and then falls. But didn’t leave hope and consistent efforts and persistence gave him success to walk.?

When we practice our bicycle, we fall and then practice and practice. Then we finally learn it. If you are doing something consistently persistent, You will reach your destination where you want.

Consistency and Compound effect

When you are doing something and you are not getting results, don’t lose hope. It takes time to get results and the power of the compound effect is amazing. Darren Hardy, the best-selling author and the publisher of Success magazine, mentioned great tips of compound effect in his book, it has a major role in achievements in business, relationships, and health.

For example - 1. when you are eating unhealthy and your lifestyle is not healthy, you will get tons of diseases later on. Your consistent habits either good or bad will have a compound effect on you.

If you are eating healthy and your lifestyle is good, You will have great results in the future and will stay healthy till old age.

2. When you are spending $5 on coffee consistently every day,?it will be the cost of $1825 in a year $9125 in 5 years, and $36,500 in 20 years. You have no idea what you are spending now will convert big when you see the compound effect.

3. To maintain a good relationship with your kids and spouse, it’s not a one-day effort, it is about every day, you have to work on it every day by caring, loving, compromising, sharing, and forgiving then it becomes an amazing relationship. These are examples of the compound effect.

?Any company initially was not that big. It took them a minimum of 10 to 20 years to establish and now the compound effect of it is amazing. For Example, Facebook(Meta), Amazon, Youtube, and more.

Consistency and Mindfulness

Being consistent is the key to achieving anything. But here is one thing we should also focus not to be consistent with the habit that is taking you nowhere.?Digging on the stony mountain will not give you any results. You need to change your route.?

?Take a pause and check what more you need to improve, and fix the things that can improve your productivity and can take you where you want in your life. It’s okay to change your old consistent habits into new habits that give you more benefits and giving you results.??

When you drive for a destination, you drive consistently till your destination arrives, but you have to stop by rest areas to fuel and recharge yourself. Be mindful to take a break whenever you need it and keep moving consistent and persistent.

How to be consistent-

Many people give up things in the middle and do not reach their?People have to keep in mind a few things to be more consistent.

  • You should know your purpose, your biggest why. It should be in front of you, keep it anywhere you can see it, in your car dashboard, refrigerator, door, or work area.
  • Do not expect high initially, high expectations can demoralize your journey if you are not getting results in beginning. Have patience, things take time.
  • Learn to be happy for small achievements, something is better than nothing.
  • Self Talk can help you to move forward. You can be motivated for some time but you will be consistent if you are inspired by your own self-talk.
  • Surrounded by like-minded people. If you will find a community of motivated and positive people in the same field. You will feed your mind with good thoughts that will push you forward.

The bottom line is that anything can be achieved if you will pour your heart and soul into it and be consistent. No one reached their destinations without consistent hard work. Be consistent and persistent and mindful, nothing can stop you.
