Consistency Beats Intensity
Now that we've entered into mid-February, the shine of 2022 is starting to wear off.
Everyone comes out of the gates quickly to start a new year, but what really counts is consistency.
For first-time leaders, don’t worry about what others are doing.
Ignore the noise.
Find what works for YOU, and build upon it every day.
That may be introducing a new rhythm of 1:1 meetings, or carving out more time for thinking. Perhaps it means getting to bed earlier, or eating healthier food. One thing I've started doing this year is drinking a glass of water as soon as I wake up (thanks for the tip, Dan Pink!). Canadian winters can be unforgiving...
Aim for simplicity and consistency over intensity. Play the long game!

2 年I agree that consistency is an important characteristic, yet in the same breath I would emphasize that being flexible AND (truly) collaborative in achieving goals is essential. There’s nothing good about being consistent at ‘achieving’ group-think based goals because it will still result in organizational failure.

2 年I’m newer to content creation, branding, etc. and I want to implement all the things all the time all at once. For such an excitable person, it is good to have that *consistent* reminder to slow down and just be consistent ??
