I participatd in the delivery of an Embraer ERJ170 to my company , i first was looking for a company specialist on that , since it costed a lot of money and as a start-up, we has to minimize the cost, we could manage it internally. Aircraft technical records must be reviewed carefully and pertinently with a lot of precision and persistence! It becomes harder when the aircraft is old! Reviewing records (certifications, records, TLB , legal and official papers ..) take a lot of time , but once it is done correctly , the risk will be minimized and assessed when we will have technical audits at a long term ( especially the audits related to the conitnuous airworthiness department). It's important as well , to be taken into consideration in the redelivery for the leasing company!?
