Is Consciousness Engineering a real thing?
I just recently read about it and wanted to share it.
Conscious Engineering is a concept introduced by Vishen Lakhiani, the founder of MindValley, in his book "The Code of the Extraordinary Mind," and refers to a learning methodology which aims to accelerate personal development and increased productivity.
What he explains is that we unknowingly adhere to antiquated beliefs based on indoctrination (tradition, family values etc.) that might be holding us back. As well we stick to "outdated" daily practices and routines, as almost every aspect of how we run our day can be improved, and yet we keep doing them the same way for years and years on.
And most of us do not eve think about this kind of things, at all, as we are running on the hamster wheel of life...!!
The idea is that by replacing these obsolete models (beliefs) and systems (practices and habits) that constrain us, we uplift our consciousness, paving the way towards an extraordinary life. How?
Lastly, by understanding these 2 ideas, people will be able to understand new knowledge and incorporate new habits in a most effective and rapid way.
I loved the concept and its simplicity, as a great approach to recalibrate for the upcoming year change :-))) !!!
On my side I confess, I used to believe (out of ignorance I guess ;-D) that personal development was for weak people or people in trouble, so I never really considered it, until early this year that I attended a webinar and one thing lead to the other and here I am now thinking deeply on these things and sharing my so far learnings B-)
As per changing the way of doing things, since months now I am brushing my teeth with the left hand hahahaha. As I learned that doing such things, like trying to utilize the "other" hand, improves your brain function as it creates more neuron connections and so on.
So tell me, and in preparation for the year coming up, what is one believe you are willing to bust and replace with a new one that suits your purpose?!
And what is at least one practice you are willing to upgrade?!
I read you in the comments!
Until the next one, in the meantime be well!
