Air Liquide to Produce Hydrogen for TotalEnergies
液空 has revealed plans for a renewable hydrogen production project at TotalEnergies ' La Mède biorefinery in France. The new hydrogen production unit, with a capacity of 25,000 tonnes per year, will convert recycled biogenic by-products into renewable hydrogen, replacing fossil hydrocarbons. This hydrogen will primarily support the biorefinery’s production of biofuels and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF).

ConocoPhillips Acquires Marathon Oil Corporation
康菲石油公司 has successfully completed its acquisition of Marathon Oil Corporation l. Under the terms of the merger agreement, each share of Marathon Oil common stock has been converted into 0.255 shares of 康菲石油公司 common stock, with cash provided for any fractional shares.

bp Reaches FID on Indonesia CCUS Project
bp , on behalf of the Tangguh production sharing contract partners, has announced a final investment decision on the $7 billion Tangguh Ubadari, CCUS, Compression project (UCC). This project has the potential to unlock approximately 3 trillion cubic feet (0.08 trillion m3) of additional gas resources in Indonesia, helping to meet the increasing energy demand in Asia.

Odfjell Terminals Tagsa Expands Storage Capacity in Ulsan
Odfjell Terminals Tagsa has announced the approval of a new expansion project at Odfjell Terminals Korea (OTK), which will include a new tank pit with ten tanks, greatly enhancing the services and product handling capacity at the Ulsan terminal. The E5 project will boost OTK’s capacity by 28%, exceeding 400,000 m3. The ten carbon steel tanks will be specially designed to store high-demand commodities such as benzene, methanol, aromatics, and ethanol, in response to the strong storage demand forecasted for Northeast Asia.
Women in Tanks: Nicola Briggs
Nicola Briggs , a control room officer at Navigator Terminals , transitioned into the storage terminals industry over 13 years ago after working as a mobile hairdresser. Initially starting on the weighbridge, she moved into chemical and fuels planning, eventually becoming the first dual-role planner. She also served as deputy port facility security officer, a role she still holds today. Now working as a control room operator at the Seal Sands terminal in Middlesbrough, UK, Briggs' career has evolved through various roles in response to the industry's growing demands.
