During my childhood, I found solace in solitude, relishing my own company while immersing myself in movies, and books, and pursuing my passions, often oblivious to the significance of forging connections with others. Growing up, I stayed introverted, finding it hard to talk and express myself. But over time, I realized how important it is to connect with others. Humans are social beings, and forming connections and comprehending others is as vital as pursuing our dreams and passions.?
Over the years, as my confidence developed, I learned to move beyond mere small talk. Instead, I sought to engage in meaningful conversations, trying to understand what others were expressing and vice versa. Understanding others and being understood became an art I aspired to master.?
A recent opportunity to attend a soft skills workshop organized by Neeki Singh presented itself, but unfortunately, I could not partake in it. However, hearing my peers discuss the activities they engaged in, the skills they acquired, and the connections they formed post this workshop was truly enlightening. Both Sarvesh Singh and Neeki Singh have been exceptional mentors, imparting valuable lessons and guidance across various subjects. I am immensely thankful to both of them for their contributions to our growth and learning, along with their consistent support. Even though I missed the workshop, hearing about my friends' experiences showed me how powerful it is to engage meaningfully with others.
