Connection expanding in export

Whilst recent events have had a largely negative impact on businesses in all sectors across the globe, here at Connection we believe it is now more important than ever to look forwards and to invest in the future. We are heavily supporting new product innovation and investing in people with an expanding team, in order to explore and expand new markets.

Exporting to Europe has become increasingly prominent for Connection over the past few years, with an increasing number of products now being sold into Europe. To best meet this demand, we are delighted to welcome Mirabell Mayack to the team as our new Exports Manager. Highly knowledgeable and experienced in international business and sales, Mirabell is a polyglot, having conducted business in German, English, Spanish and French to name but a few of the languages she speaks.

Classifying herself as both German and Cameroonian, due to her mixed parentage, her African heritage is a particular area of pride and passion for Mirabell, having become the first German to appear in Forbes Afrique in her previous role. Her understanding and embracing of different cultures and languages is as much a personal passion as it is professional, as she spends some of her spare time writing a blog on intercultural affairs.

We are delighted to welcome Mirabell on board and look forward to benefitting from her skills and experience, as we look to grow both at home and internationally.
