One thing I've noticed lately in the online business industry is a trend away from purely organic online social media marketing back towards email, workshops, and genuine relationship building the 'old fashioned way' (aka so 2018). I've built two businesses organically on social media.
Social media has its upside and its downside. The good bits? Connection, collaboration, and community with folks around the globe. The bad bits? Trolls, flashy influencers, and the fake glitz that can come with it.

As we've emerged from the pandemic, I find this a common theme as I connect with clients and colleagues. But recently, in the last few months, I've been hearing more and more about 'screen fatigue', desiring 'just a call' or 'just an email', as we've been working virtually for so long for a change.
