Individual donors are inspired to give when they believe in a cause, trust your organization, and can see the impact of their contributions.?
Driven by emotions, an individual donor can give on an impulse or make a well-planned donation depending on the time and money they are willing to invest in your cause. Multiple touchpoints, hence play an important role in keeping in contact with the individuals with a giving heart.?
While texts, emails, events, etc. have been long used as a medium to connect with prospect donors, online fundraising has emerged as a strong medium in recent years, gaining more popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic.?
At Lotus Petal Foundation, we shifted from physical galas to?online galas and events?post the pandemic. It is a safe and effective way to engage with the audience and is entertaining and engaging too. These online fundraising events help us reach a large audience and are cost-effective for the organization.?
Our online fundraising events are a mix of live performances, pre-recorded videos and also allow the participants to engage with our students. It is a platform for us to showcase our work and an opportunity for the people to understand us better before they trust us with their donation.?
