Connecting home at 800 feet below the surface
Full Circle Home has helped troops in 27 countries, and 28 vessels at sea. This year we have the opportunity to sponsor a Virginia-Class nuclear-powered fast attack submarine. We think this is the perfect chance for a business or organization to adopt a complete crew and let them know they are appreciated.
Why do it? At FCH, while we believe in supporting all deployed troops, we especially try to help those who have limited access send their love and gifts home at the holidays.
For many grant makers and donors, the obvious troops to reach out to are those who have met challenges already - the wounded warriors, homeless vets, families of those with PTSDs. There is no denying the need, and it’s one in which Full Circle Home already actively addresses. What we hope to do in supporting deployed troops is to strengthen the bonds at home BEFORE a difficulty occurs, to let the troops and those at home feel that the “wagons are circled” BEFORE they need to rely on others, to let them know that individuals, businesses and communities around the country have their backs BEFORE they need to reach out. Full Circle Home helps to build that strength and solidify their support for the tasks at hand, be it in the field, or in the hospital.
At a depth of 800 feet below the surface, the submariners will not be emailing their wives and moms this holiday, not quite yet. So the possibility of helping them connect with their loved ones at home is a great option for a company to use to thank our troops!
