?? Improving Culturally-Sensitive Care Across Hawai’i with AlohaCare?

AlohaCare , a nonprofit health plan, focuses on tackling the unique challenges Hawaiian residents face, like the high cost of living, limited agricultural land, and the state's high homelessness rate. Through our UniteHawaii network, AlohaCare helps connect members to culturally sensitive social services, bringing together data to improve access to care and health outcomes.

?? Los Alamos County Connects Residents to Resources with Unite Us

The Los Alamos County, NM Social Services Division has rolled out a new referral system using Unite Us to better connect residents with essential resources. County Social Services Manager Jessica Strong emphasizes how this system makes it easier to coordinate care with local organizations, saying it helps to “immediately connect individuals and families to the right organizations without the client needing to repeat their story – which can cause additional distress and stigma.”
