Every once and a while I get a bit delusional and think that I can solve the Travelling Salesperson Problem (TSP) with geometry and a bit of Bayesian math, lol. I stumbled on a cool post/video that featured the amazing properties of reuleaux triangles so I started a simple exploration with ChatGPT o1-Preview. While this "approach" will probably not win the $1M prize, the scope, code, and creativity of the "chat" was amazing! All within the one-cup-of-coffee [time-frame] that I use for these sorts of tests! The code needs a little debugging, and I might have to do some real math, lol, but that is not the point of what I'm trying to convey. In short, o1-Preview is yet another advancement of GPT ~ and what it is capable of, more or less. At the very least, it's an awesome playground for ANYTHING that you can think of! I'll let you know if I solve TSP, LOL :-) If anyone is interested in building on this please share!
