Connecting the Dots . . . .

What an incredible few weeks it has been since we have last conversed. From conversations with Current Distributors, Engineers, Prospective Distributors, Contractors, Municipalities, Regulators, Inspectors, Mentors to spending time with Flo-Water Manufacturer Representatives as they bridge the gap between Flo-Water & all the above: it is incredible to see the efforts, care, and actions being taken to clean our waters.

?I would like to share with you some of the efforts on display at a conference held in Rice Lake, WI. This conference is possible thanks to the concerted efforts of NASECA, and MECA.?140 participants were there to learn more.?Speaking to the group of 140 professionals as we stood outside in the beautiful weather was the ideal circumstances to be in.

Seeing the reactions professionals have to systems that were designed to make things easy from an install & maintenance standpoint is rewarding. ?

Incredible to See People Wanting to do more

Another highlight was being a part of an incredible think tank put together to find solutions to the HAB (Harmful Algae Bloom) outbreaks that have been on the rise. Thank you to the NAA (National Algae Association) for putting us all together. It is incredible to see how their solutions are?facilitated via Flo-Water's Delivery systems. Since then, we have developed a think tank to solve water problems that seem untenable. https://www.dhirubhai.net/groups/14314723/

This week started one way and has been adjusted. The Initial Plan?was to drive 5 hours for 2 meetings, continue 3 hours more to sleeping spot. The next day was to follow with meetings 2 hours away, & then driving the 4 hours back to my home.

This isn't what happened.

Left the house at 5:30 AM on Monday. at 7:30 AM, I was informed that Tuesdays meetings had been rescheduled. So, I was able to go to the 2nd meeting first with time to be at the schedule 1 PM meeting. Why was this so good then? It is because this was travel in a state that promoted antiquated approaches to Stormwater Management, Water Quality, Sediment Control, & more. With a common practice of “Cut, Copy, & Pasting” by engineers which enables contractors to choose the least expensive solution to them. Not the most cost-effective solution with water quality as the primary goal.?Then I was introduced to a green council within the state comprised of Engineers, Municipal Professionals, DNR, DOT, Contractors and more. Putting together a group to define the problems needing solved, the results that are desired, & that this makes sense to all parties. To see them now take our products in the field to provide reviews is exactly what we, as an industry, need. ?
