As its apprenticeship week we have put together a number of new initiatives to raise the profile of apprenticeships and also support the growth of sport and physical activity at the same time.
Connecting the Connected is our first imitative and its aim is to have a network of social media apprentices based in sports organisations with a two fold objective;
Firstly to raise the profile and impact of these community organisations within their own communities and secondly to connect the organisations together so they can work on promoting through social media participation and physical activity programmes that can benefit from the network of connected sports organisations.
The apprentices themselves will be engaged in an active programme of study that also draws in a number of key sports organisations and agencies to show how its done and how they can apply their learning into your workplace.
We are looking for like minded sports organisations, community Foundations, Governing Bodies, County Sport Partnerships who can employ an apprentice over the coming year starting in September.
