Dreamforce week was a whirlwind! With evidence that Marketing Cloud is moving closer to core and AI enhancements galore, there’s so much to digest!

But while the unveilings at Dreamforce are exciting, it’s important not to forget about deprecations too. It’s been a while since it was announced we’ll have to say goodbye to audience builder and social studio – but have you got a plan in place for their sunset?

What has recently got the marketing community talking?

The Marketing Keynote was titled “Marketing in Generation AI” – showcasing the new features as a sneak peek “Inside Marketing Labs”. From Segment Intelligence and Einstein for Account Engagement, there are 10 announcements for Salesforce Marketers to delve into.?

Salesforce are showing that there's some momentum to Marketing Cloud moving closer to the core platform. With new features being built on Data Cloud, eventually, could Marketing Cloud be 'on core'? Here are the 26 generative AI capabilities on the roadmap, with an additional 25+ set to arrive by the end of 2024.

When designing prompts, you may need to check that Einstein has access to all the data required to answer a user’s prompt. This could require multiple layers of related data, going several objects deep, or data from multiple integrated sources. How do you check that your data is ready for such exploration? Enter Data Graphs, part of Data Cloud.

The partnership between the data lake provider, Snowflake, and Salesforce which promises zero-data copy architecture is about to get stronger! There are more promising enhancements on the horizon with their Bring Your Own Lake (BYOL) technology.
