Connect with your idols today on Xpert

We all have idols in our lives whom we look up to an try to stay connected to their lives, be it personal or professional. We dream as big as our idols, but we fail to learn from them.

There are a plethora of social platforms today to join, be it a personal platform like Snapchat and Instagram or professional ones like LinkedIn. Every platform serves a different purpose altogether. We can follow our idols on Instagram which is usually a one-way street, but we connect with them on LinkedIn which works both ways. We follow our idols, we ask them questions, but we seldom get a response.

Let me introduce you with an application that I came across a few days ago - XPERT. This application empowers everyone to learn from the best, to learn from our idols and ask questions that mostly go unnoticed at other platforms. This application is aimed at capturing every answer ever given by an Xpert, be it directly on this platform, in a seminar, in an interview or via a podcast. You can vote for the question that you wish to be answered by the Xpert.

The application has Xperts from more than 80 diverse areas - actors, industrialists, entrepreneurs, marketers, IAS officers, graphic designers, bakers, sportspersons, corporate professional and whatnot. To give a small list of Xperts present, I'd like to mention just a few names - Ratan Tata, Azim Premji, Falguni Nayar, J.K Rowling, Neil Patel, Amish Tripathi, Ayushmann Khurrana, Prasoon Joshi, Imtiaz Ali, Takashi Murakami.

This is a glimpse of how the app's feed appears. Once you have followed the Xpert, you can view the most voted questions answered, and also get an "Ask" button to vote for your question.

The answer can be in any format, text, video or audio depending on the source of the same.

With more than 10k users and 300+ Xperts, it aims to give us a free platform where we can gain inspiration from our idols' journeys, learn their techniques and staying updated on their achievements.
