Connect. Develop. Grow

Connect. Develop. Grow

Are you gearing up for 2023 as both a business and people leader?

I’m gearing up too!

That’s why I’m so excited about meeting the speakers and people attending the Inner Circle Risky Business Summit —a virtual event on October 18th. For those of you who don’t know about Inner Circle, let me get you caught up on why I believe you’ll find this group and the Summit so valuable.

First, let’s talk about the Summit.?

?Inner Circle’s “secret sauce” is that it’s an inclusive and curated community of business professionals looking to connect, make quality introductions, and grow business!?

Our members include business owners, leaders, and those aspiring to be both. Our co-founders, Kim Kleeman and Joy Poli believe “We can grow our networks AND our businesses together.”

Members (and for certain events, non-members) have an opportunity every month, to attend events and meet new people. By the end of each event, you often discover new ways to improve and increase your business through vision, planning, action, and accountability.?

Second, you’ll notice how the group leaders make it a point to focus on meeting with other business owners and leaders both formally and informally.

This past year, I scheduled several “reconnect” meetings with people I met with in the past. I was surprised about how I learned something completely new about their ideal clients, challenges they are experiencing, AND what makes them unique as experts.

Third, you’ll like the flexibility within the all-day virtual format of the summit, and how each section focuses on a different type of problem. This year’s theme (on October 18th,) is Risky Business.?

After all, anyone willing to start their own business surely expects risk as part of the experience-right?? If you agree, then this October 18th Inner Circle Summit is for you!

Don’t worry if you can’t make the entire event–come to the parts you can and enjoy the recordings from those parts you miss. The recordings are sent to anyone who registers.

Here’s what you will experience between 8:30 a.m and 4 pm.?

The day begins with the “Rise Up Initiative” session. The purpose of this session is to shine a light on non-profit leaders who want to support? underserved communities and need help in their fund-raising and volunteer efforts. Catherine McNeil and Scott Nicholson look forward to sharing a lot of new information about their plans for this initiative.

Next, you get right into a 30-minute networking session. This is a great time for you to catch up with fellow Inner Circle members and most of the attendees right away.

?I really look forward to this session because there’s so much energy! We even have a chance to break into small groups and learn more about each other and our businesses.?

After that lively networking session, co-founder Kim Kleeman will deliver her ?"Accelerate Successfully Through Risky Business" keynote speech.

I always look forward to listening to Kim because she encourages us to shift our mindsets. The moment my mindset shifts, I discover I’m open to new ideas and tactics Kim and the other speakers share during the day.??

Have you ever experienced a mindset shift during a professional development event like Risky Business?? It makes such a difference in how easy it is to understand and absorb new ideas!

Equally important is the opportunity to be with like-minded people, share new insights, and collaborate on action plans.

I’m especially excited about the afternoon breakout sessions and wish I could clone myself!?

From learning how to shift from Survival to CEO Mode with Mel Mcsherry , to "Torch These Common Merger & Acquisition Mistakes with Dane Sanders , I’m torn about which session to attend.

I’m struggling with the same issue in deciding between the 2nd set of breakout sessions with Stacey Saunders, "Lead from the Heart: Operationalizing Your Values" and Joy Poli, "Get Ahead of the Curve: Top 3 HR Pitfalls in Business Today".?

Are you also conflicted about deciding between two sessions?

These sessions are so packed with valuable information I could really use some help!??

I’m looking for 3-4 colleagues (or more) who would like to attend as my “learning buddy.” You can take advantage of my discount code for the Summit while both of us get the most out of this Risky Business Summit.?

As learning buddies, we will share notes, new insights and lessons learned, while having a great day of networking and learning!

By the end of the summit, I know I will walk away with actionable knowledge to implement immediately, and an expanded “toolkit” of resources and new connections that can help move our businesses towards the outcomes we want.?

DM me on LinkedIn for a discount code link and a quick note that says “learning buddy”, and click here for details about all the sessions.

See you on October 18th!
