Connect Ahead and Haile Micro Internship at the Haile College of Business
Aro Rajaonah
Predoctoral Research Specialist at Princeton School of Public and International Affairs
For this past second semester into my Haile Micro Internship, the least that I could say is that I have learned a lot. Mainly, my communication skills and critical thinking have gotten better.
The highlight of this semester was the NKU Celebration of Student Research and Creative Activity on April 13th. NKU students were displaying their research and I got to have meaningful conversations with different students with a rich variety of interest. It was fascinating to hear about the different projects and the reasoning behind the students' thought process.
I am a firm believer in the power of exposure. Attending such events was an eye opener that sparked my interest in research even more. Academia is indeed a route that I think of taking for the rest of my career.
Special thanks to Olena Pilyayeva, Patrick Hare and Dr. Linda Dynan for the opportunity to be part of a Haile Micro Internship.
