I've got a important question to ask you....
Ok so don't dust off the wedding attire just yet. We're talking FB post engagement
With all the talk of Facebook reach and the drop in Facebook engagement lately it’s important for business owners to know how to connect to their audience and get the most out of their posts.
So how can you build a better engagement?
I put together a list of the things we should do to drive engagement through content and lead it to potential conversions and sales to help you build a community of people that LOVE your posts
1. Be Yourself – Facebook is a SOCIAL network. Keep it social. Make them get to know you, like you and then they will be more inclined to buy from you
2. Use Video – Video is proven to increase engagement and has a 135% greater organic reach than photo. Mark Zuckerberg is quoted as saying that in 2019 he wants “most of Facebook to be video”. FB live is the go to place if you want the biggest engagement from your audience, with it bringing in 3 times more watch time than its pre-recorded counterpart
3. Keep Posts Specific to your Audience – They follow you and your business for a reason. Facebook’s algorithm is designed to show your content to people more if they take an action on that post. Keep you posts relevant and they will click, meaning they are more likely to see future posts
4. Monitor What Works – Look at what types of posts engage with your audience. Each niche is slightly different and you can soon what out what works best for your audience. Give them what they want
5. Be Consistent – Your audience become used to seeing you post consistently and using the same voice. Stay true to your values and post regularly
6. Show Some Love – Reply to their comments, show them you care and they will be more inclined to comment on future posts
7. Have fun – Remember the social aspect of Facebook. That funny video or photo may get lots of shares and likes and that will set you up for the more “salesy” post you post later on. Just keep the funny photos and videos specific to your industry or niche
