Congratulations to Two of Our Newest Team Members: Stephanie Pierce & Aimee Novotny!

My name is Stephanie Pierce, and I am a mortgage coordinator at Benchmark Mortgage. I help borrowers get the required documentation needed for their loan and with any questions during the process. Once everything is received, I then submit their loan to our underwriter who will condition for any additional items. Our ultimate goal is to get everything upfront to make the process as smooth as possible for our borrowers. 

I began working in the mortgage industry in November of 2017, when I started at Benchmark Mortgage. Prior to that, I worked at Hy-Vee Pharmacy for 2 years. I graduated from Glenwood Community High School in 2016. I live in Pacific Junction, Iowa with my boyfriend, Blake, and our two dogs, Pharaoh and Ramona. Pharaoh is a 2 year old husky/German Shepard mix and Ramona is a 1 year old black lab. I have two older sisters Andi and Sammie, and a little sister, Nevaeh who is 4.

I have the privilege of working with my ‘bonus’ mom, Rachel Pierce, who is a Loan Officer at Benchmark Mortgage and introduced me to the industry. I am so grateful and excited to have the opportunity to work every day helping families into their forever homes! I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family in my free time.

My name is Aimee Novotny, and I am a Loan Assistant at Benchmark Mortgage. My responsibility is to be the liaison between our buyers and the underwriting department, while creating a “WOW” experience and making closing or refinancing a smooth and easy process for all of our customers.

I have been in the industry for 2 years. Prior to Benchmark Mortgage, I worked at Delmar Financial and also Busey Bank, formally known as Pulaski Home Lending. Working for both companies was a great experience that taught me so much about the industry. The best part about this business is helping our clients with one of the biggest purchases of their lives and keeping it as stress free as possible.

I currently live in Fremont, NE with my boyfriend, his five year old daughter, my two year old daughter and our dog Charlie. We are also expecting our first child together in October. My family is my world!
