We partnered with Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth to champion youth innovators and empower the next generation of leaders working to attain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and make the world a better place through social entrepreneurship.

For seven years, SDSN Youth has been running the Youth Investment Readiness Program (YIRP), an online accelerator to help young entrepreneurs, predominantly in emerging economies, build the skills they need to raise investments to scale their social enterprises. And so we were very honored to be able to sponsor the UN SDSN Youth Competition of 2023.?

Beast Philanthropy has always believed that the world will change for the better only when young people are both inspired and enabled to use their voices, abilities, and knowledge to create solutions to global issues. Having been founded by a young social entrepreneur, we understand the value of empowering youth-led innovations and are proud to present to you some of the winners of 2023’s competition.?

Who are you and how do you plan on making the world a better place?

I am Chioma Ukpabi, a social entrepreneur dedicated to securing economic opportunities for marginalized youths in Nigeria left behind by unequal systems. As founder of award-winning Skill Up With Kahdsole (SUWK), we have skilled over 900 individuals so far, facilitating incomes that seed local prosperity.

What do you plan on doing with your prize money?

This prize funding will directly enable us to scale SUWK's training programs and provide even more economic inclusion pathways. Hundreds of more young lives are transformed through the good use of technology for impact.

What inspires you most?

I draw daily inspiration from seeing my country’s gifted youths expand their potential. When passion meets opportunity, no peak is too high! These young changemakers motivate me infinitely to clear barriers limiting their ascent.
