Congratulations to our 2019 Award of Excellence Dealer Recipients

It’s hard to believe it’s December already! Despite the hectic season it’s important to pause and reflect on our accomplishments this past year. At Canadian Tire, this also means taking a moment to celebrate our exceptional Dealers.

Did you know that each Canadian Tire store is operated by a Dealer, who owns their own independent business? These entrepreneurs bring their passion, experience and leadership to our network of stores across Canada. They are best-in-class, and we are proud of the amazing work that they do, each and every day.

As recognition, the Canadian Tire Award of Excellence is presented annually. It celebrates an outstanding focus on customer service, retail leadership, store team development and outreach in the community. I’m pleased to share the 2019 winners:  

Markus Weinbrecht, Dealer, Peterborough North, ON

Markus is an inspirational business leader and dedicated community member. He has been a Canadian Tire Dealer for 22 years, and brings his strong retail experience, ingenuity, and passion for our brand to everything he does. He has made significant contributions to various committees at Canadian Tire over the years, and also supports a number of sports teams and youth organizations in his local community.

Dominique Pressault, Dealer, Ville St. Laurent, QC

Dominique is a respected Dealer who continually raises the bar when it comes to serving his customers and his fellow Dealers through his participation on various committees. Having spent 19 years as a Dealer with Canadian Tire, Dominique is considered a great ambassador for the brand. He is passionate about meeting customer needs and has proven this time and again across the stores he has operated.  

Warren Pariseau, Calgary, AB

Warren is known for his engagement and openness to trying new things at his store. He has 21 years of experience as a Dealer and is comfortable thinking outside the box. Warren sets a high standard of excellence through his own commitment to his team and his customers, and his leadership continues to help shape the future of Canadian Tire.
